Olivia Roach
Ballet & Contemporary Tutor
Olivia trained at The Rambert School, graduating in 2014 with a first class Bachelor of Arts degree. While training at Rambert, Olivia was given the opportunity to compete in the Royal Academy of Dance’s prestigious Genee International Ballet Competition in both New Zealand and Scotland, as well as being the only student to travel with the school on their audition tour to Japan, China and Vietnam.
Since graduating Olivia has worked as a freelance artist working on array of different projects from contemporary dance, to circus and cabaret.
Most notably she has worked with Katie Armstrong on ‘SKETCHES’, Éowyn Emerald & Dancers on ‘I asked of you’ and ‘Sugared’, Bartek Woyzczsynski’s ‘Release Me, Not’ (now b’cause dance company), Richard Chappell Dance on ‘Two Duets’, Bassline Circus for Boomtown Fair, and as a contortionist at various cabarets including Wild Cabaret Glasgow. She has also performed in music videos for Be Charlotte with choreographer Tamsyn Russell, Nathan Evans (choreographed by Katie Armstrong), as lead choreographer and dancer for Bang Bang Romeo, as well as dancing in promotional videos for Rolls Royce and Premier League Football.
Olivia has over 8 years teaching experience and qualified with the Royal Academy of Dance on their Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma course.
